Planning your Egypt trip? Discover the ideal months to visit based on weather, crowds, and special events. From the cool winter high season to budget-friendly summer deals.
Egypt is a year-round destination, but the best time to visit depends on your priorities. The winter months (November to February) offer the most comfortable temperatures for sightseeing, with highs around 20-25°C in Cairo and Luxor. This is the peak tourist season, so expect higher prices and larger crowds at major attractions.
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to October) offer a nice balance between weather and crowds. Temperatures are warm but manageable, and you'll find better deals on accommodation and tours. The shoulder seasons are our personal favourite time to visit.
Summer (June to August) sees temperatures soaring above 40°C in Upper Egypt, but it's also the quietest time with the lowest prices. If you can handle the heat and plan your sightseeing for early morning and late afternoon, summer can be an excellent time for budget-conscious travellers.
Regardless of when you visit, our private tours include air-conditioned vehicles and flexible scheduling to ensure your comfort throughout your Egyptian adventure.
